The WMC

The Worcester Mountaineering Club is a collection of around 50 local mountaineers, climbers, and walkers who all share a passion for adventure and the outdoors.

WMC members regularly organise trips in the UK, Europe and beyond with the emphasis on adventure, enjoyment and a good pub. From cragging in the UK and ice climbing in Norway, to Munro bagging in Scotland and airy alpine adventures … there is definitely something for everyone. The WMC offers the opportunity to meet like-minded people who are passionate about high places. If you are 18+ then we would love to hear from you. We currently run a group for new / prospective members on Thursday evenings which is the best way to become acquainted with the club. If you are planning to come along please contact us first so we can be sure someone will be there to meet you. 

Many of the regular members meet at Redpoint Climbing Centre on Thursday evenings. Some members also meet at The Dragon Inn 51 The Tything in Worcester from 8.30 pm on the first and third Thursday of every month.
